We live in a country house just outside a small village in the Serranía of Ronda. The house is in a valley with a river close by and we are within easy walking distance of the closest village. We live in the main house and rent out two studios and a en-suite room so that is why we can offer non-simultaneous exchanges. It is a very quiet place with birdsong and goat bells to be heard and you can spot vultures and eagles wheeling overhead as you relax in the garden.
The space
Studio Ana is a comfortable studio apartment with a double bed, living room/kitchen, bathroom and private terrace with a day bed and table and chairs for eating outside. The views are wonderful as you are looking out at the mountains and the garden and there is also a pergola in the garden where you can relax and watch the moon come up! You have the use of the swimming pool, the garden, the bbq and there is ample parking for cars.
Guest access
Studio Ana has its own private entrance and is situated above the main house.
Notes
We have two cats and a dog; the cats are pretty independent and just need feeding morning and evening. Peper, the dog, also need feeding twice a day and would very much appreciate a short daily walk and she also loves human company.

Neighbourhood
There are some shops and a bar/restaurant in the village of Estación de Cortes de la Frontera and it is an easy 5-10 minute walk from the finca. In the bigger village of Cortes de la Frontera, about ten minutes away by car, you will find more restaurants, bars, several banks, a post office, medical centre, pharmacy and two supermarkets.
We are between two Natural Parks so it's a great spot if you enjoy walking or hiking and there are plenty of places among the pine and olive trees that are perfect for a picnic!
Getting to my home
You can come by train as there is a train station in the local village. Having a car is really useful, though, so maybe hiring a car would be a good idea.
Nearest airport
Malaga Airport is about two hours away as is Seville Airport. Gibraltar is about an hour and a half.
Getting around
There is a train station in the village so you can hop on the train to go visit Ronda or one of the other white villages.
However, we do recommend having a car because there are so many places to explore around that aren't accessible by public transport and the train does have a limited service of three trains a day. It's also nice to be able to get to the beach, either on the Costa del Sol or the Costa de la Luz, both of which are about an hour and a half from here.
