Gainesville is a university town with many activities. There are many natural springs around.

Tom and Sylvia

We love traveling, nature, and culture. Sylvia is a professor and Tom is a car enthusiast who restores classic German cars. We sometimes travel with one or both of our adult children who are busy professionals in the tech industry. We have traveled all over the world, especially in Europe and Asia. In the past few years, we have spent time in Sweden, Spain, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. We are respectful of other's culture/space and open to all locations that have a great mixture of culture (food) and nature (hiking).
