Neighbourhood
The house is in the old town, on the top of a hill. You have the old town on one side, and the lovely hills of Piedmont on the other (where the sun set).
Getting around
In the old town where the house is located there are two restaurants with very good local food and wine, as well as a simple grocery store. In the newer part of town (10 minutes walk) you will find bakery, delicatessen, grocery, as well as several restaurants and bars. There is also a train station here.
There are several pools and swimming pools nearby. If you want sea and beach life, the Italian Riviera is only 1 hour and 15 min. away by car.
If you want to visit bigger places, cities like Asti and Nizza Monferrato are not far away. Milan is an hour and a half away by car, Turin is an hour away and the Alps are only a couple of hours drive away. It is also possible to take the train to travel to these places.
The famous wine towns of Barolo and Barbaresco and Alba are within half an hour's drive.
