Neighbourhood

In the village you will find 2 bars/restaurants, 2 groceries with almost everything you need and the best bread of the region. Within 5 km, other local shops, restaurants and bars with nice cheese or other special stuff. There are 4 towns (Grândola, Santiago do Cacém, Vila Nova de Santo André and Sines) accessible from 15 min to 30 min drive with big supermarkets, other shops and restaurants... Several beaches to chose from, also 15 to 30-min drive. I will of course leave all the infos and recommendations. It definitely is a beautiful part of the world with a friendly atmosphere that I am happy to share.

Nearest airport

Lisbon, 1 h 30 drive.

Getting around

I recommend that you rent a car. But is it also accessible by bus (national + local). If I don't need it and there is a reciprocal exchange, I could also leave my car. There are 2 pushbikes.

I'm a potter (Olaria da Mina on Instagram). I also work occasionally as a proofreader in French. The rest of the time, I'm busy trying to get things under control in the house and around, on the land. Let see what travel suggestions came from here. Also, I still have this fantasy to do a long-term exchange close to a pottery where I could do some work exchange. I'm happy to host people in the yurt (2 max in that case) for a few days. I also have a guest room for solo travellers.
