Neighbourhood
The neighborhood is a place where you can get a glimpse of an egret or a great blue heron at the pond in the common area. Don’t forget your camera! It’s the kind of place where people walk babies in carriages, children ride their bikes freely and everyone you pass says hello. There are grocery stores, pharmacy, urgent care, restaurants and breweries nearby. The neighborhood has sidewalks and a common area with a beautiful pond. Our home is 4 miles from Folly Beach and 4 miles from downtown historic Charleston. Charleston is known for its cobblestone streets, horse drawn carriages, and pastel antebellum houses, particularly in the French Quarter and Battery districts. The food scene is beyond compare, with a wide variety of restaurants. Nearby Folly Beach is a world of its own, with clean wide beaches, solid surfing, restaurants and shops. James Island Park, within 1.5 miles has a water park for the kids, hiking trails and a dog park. South Carolina winters are mild and summers are action packed. The area features scenic views of marshlands and waterways.
