General Overview

Our house is located on a large block, with a kitchen garden, in a quiet street. Trams run into the city at either end of the street. A shopping Centre, cafes, restaurants and bars are within walking distance. It’s a great house for relaxing, cooking, or as a base to explore Melbourne and Victoria. Ideal for families.

The Space

There are 2 bedrooms, a double and one with 2 single beds. The living area has a modern kitchen, attached to an outdoor deck with bbq. There are 2 bathrooms, a formal dining room and an Art Deco lounge.

Guest Access

Single storey with one step at front and 3 off the back deck.

Notes

Our house has all the modern requirements for a relaxed and comfortable holiday. The kitchen, living area and deck are one big entertaining space. Several attractions are nearby, Melbourne University, State Library, Queen Vic Market and the Zoo. The beach can be accessed by tram.

Neighbourhood

Brunswick is an epicentre of world food, excellent coffee, live music and friendly people. Shopping for clothes by emerging designers, crafts, secondhand treasures and chocolate are just the beginning. We are in a friendly, safe and quiet street.

Getting to my home

We generally collect people from the airport. Other options are taxi, Uber, bus to the Southern Cross station into the city centre and a choice of tram or train with a short walk to the house.

Nearest airport

Tullamarine International airport is 30 minutes from our house.

Getting Around

A large shopping complex with all household supplies is 5 minutes walk away. There are 2 well known Melbourne eat streets, Sydney Rd and Lygon St at either end of our street. Trams, trains and buses are within a 5 to 10 minute walk. Convenient public transport is available both for centre of the city, beaches, major sports facilities and regional areas such as Phillip Island.
