General overview

Excellent area of town! Fifteen minute drive to downtown Kamloops - almost a country feel :) Great walking trails, biking, and hiking, etc. ! 15 minute drive to the airport. Close to so many lakes, both big and small, that are within a 20 minute to an hours drive! Kamloops can boast being surrounded by over 75 lakes! A beautiful area to spend your days on the deck or splashing in the pool on those hot summer days! Such close proximity to go downhill and cross country skiing in the winter months. The second largest ski hill Sun Peaks Resort is just a short 45 minute drive ~ Skiers and riders in the Ikon Pass community will now have access to the welcoming mountain environment found at Canada’s Second Largest ski area. Kamloops is Canada's Tournament Capital, and hosts more than 100 tournaments each year at world-class sports facilities such as the Tournament Capital Centre, Kamloops Bike Ranch, etc. Kamloops has 10 championship golf courses and 3 golf courses within 20 miles from Kamloops. Kamloops' rugged canyons, logging roads, sliders, ramps, and kilometres/miles of maintained riding trails provide ample terrain for all levels of mountain-biking experience. Kamloops has a worldwide reputation in the sport of mountain biking. For many years Kamloops' hills and riders have been featured in the adrenaline and gravity rushing films such as "Pulp Traction" and "Cranked".

The space

4 bedrooms (4 Queen Beds), 2 bath home. 2 bedrooms up, 2 down. Family/TV room down. Comfortable living room, dining room and kitchen. Very large 1/2 covered deck in the back garden with BBQ, fire table and lots of seating - overlooking the pool and garden.

Neighbourhood

Great residential area ~ close to indoor swimming, indoor workout gym, hiking, skiing (45 minutes to famous Sun Peaks Resort), 30 minute drive to the smaller ski hill - Harper Mountain, Tubing for everyone - both at Sun Peaks and Harper, snowshoeing, cross country skiing. South Central B.C. area close to over 75 lakes and 4 hours from Vancouver! One hour and 20 minutes to Wells Gray Provincial Park. A 5 minute drive to Privato Winery and Cider House and The Dunes Golf Course. 5 minute drive, or 15 minute walk to Centennial Park which has a Petting Zoo, Pump Track, Disc Golf and Water Park. A block to the Westsyde Shopping Centre - which has a Save-On Foods Store, Hairdresser, Home Hardware, Pharmacy and Liquor Store. Three minute walk up to the neighbourhood pub!

Getting to my home

We are in the Westsyde area of Kamloops ~ which is actually North! Easy to get to as there's lots of signs to lead the way. We're near the end of Westsyde Road, right at the shopping centre. Excellent residential area.

Nearest airport

15 Minute Drive from the Fulton Field Kamloops Airport.

Getting around

1 Block to bus stop and about a fifteen minute drive into downtown - shopping and restaurants. Beautiful park and close to Hockey Games/concerts in the Sandman Centre! Amazing walking trails and easy, flat walking to enjoy the neighbourhood!
