General Overview

Our home is a cosy, traditional wooden chalet, surrounded by snow-covered pine forests, magical landscapes and the peaceful beauty of the Arctic. Imagine waking up to a sparkling white landscape, enjoying a hot chocolate by the fireplace, watching the Northern Lights dance across the sky and falling asleep in the peaceful silence of the snowy forest. Our home is full of Christmas spirit all year round!

The Space

Welcome to our cosy and magical home, nestled in the heart of Santa Claus Village, right on the Arctic Circle in Rovaniemi, Finnish Lapland. Our home is a peaceful retreat surrounded by snowy forests, beautiful Arctic landscapes and, of course, a few very special neighbours! The Living Room. A Cosy Christmas Haven Our spacious and welcoming living room is the perfect place to relax after a busy day at the North Pole. It features a beautiful fireplace, comfortable sofas, warm blankets and, naturally, a magnificent Christmas tree all year round. There's plenty of room for family gatherings, storytelling and hot chocolate evenings. The Christmas Workshop. Where the Magic Happens This is perhaps the most unusual room in the house! Our little workshop is where Santa prepares his presents, checks his naughty and nice list and occasionally asks the elves to stop playing with the wrapping paper. You will find toys, colourful ribbons, gift boxes and a little festive magic everywhere. The Bedrooms. Sweet Dreams under the Northern Lights The house has four comfortable bedrooms, each individually decorated with a cosy Nordic touch. Soft bedding, warm colours and peaceful surroundings make them ideal for a restful night's sleep. On clear winter nights, you may even be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights! The Dining Room. A Place for festive feasts Our large dining room is perfect for sharing meals with family and friends. There's a welcoming table, plenty of seating and a festive atmosphere. Mrs Claus is particularly fond of hosting generous dinners, especially at Christmas! The Kitchen. Mrs Claus's favourite place The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious meals, bake gingerbread cookies or make a large batch of hot chocolate. You'll find all the usual appliances and plenty of space for culinary adventures. Please feel free to use the cookie cutters! The Bathrooms The house has two bathrooms, designed for comfort and convenience, with everything you need after a day exploring the snowy outdoors. The Sauna. A true finnish experience No stay in Lapland would be complete without a traditional Finnish sauna! Our sauna is the perfect place to warm up and unwind after a day in the snow. A little relaxation is well deserved, even for people who work only one night a year!

Santa

We are Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, and after centuries of busy Christmas preparations, we have decided that it might be time for a little holiday of our own! We are delighted to offer our beautiful family chalet at the North Pole for a home exchange. We would love to exchange our home with a family looking for a little Christmas magic, a touch of adventure and a truly unforgettable stay. And one important detail: December 24th to 26th are particularly busy working days for Santa, so these dates are unfortunately unavailable for exchanges
