Lazz

The house was built in 1956 and remains authentically midcentury, with some of the original furnishings and the original kitchen still in place. There are two comfortable bedrooms that I'm happy for exchange visitors to use. We're in a quiet street close to Merri Creek, one of the area's real treasures. The creek has been transformed over the years and is now a magnet for bird life - you may even hear kookaburras in the back garden. Its walking and cycling paths take you all the way into the city. Getting around is easy: a couple of tram routes and different train lines are all very close by. High street for restaurants and bars is 1km away. The heart of the home is the garden. I take great pride in it, and many people love to spend time relaxing out there or on the back deck - if you look hard, there's a view of the city through the trees. If it’s hot, I’d love a hand with a bit of watering. I live in the house on my own, although my partner stays over a few nights a week.
