Our modern home is in a quiet leafy residential area with a large park at the end of our street only a 2 minute walk and includes walking and bicycle tracks and children's playground. We have fantastic neighbours all around. The backyard is large enough for kids to play and there is a small veggie garden, lovely entertaining area and a sparkling pool.
The Space
2 comfortable bedrooms one with a Queen bed and one with a King Bed. Ideal for families or couples sharing. There is a 4th bedroom / Office but would require mattresses on the floor suitable for children.

A modern 4 bedroom home with large bathroom and ensuite. Open plan living with kitchen, dining and living area and a separate lounge room.
The outdoor living areas are spacious with a large undercover alfresco area overlooking the sparkling pool. There is room for 3 cars to park in the driveway off the road at the front of the house.

Neighbourhood
The location is a family residential area surrounded by great neighbours in a quiet street. A short 2 minute walk will take you to the local park where there is a playground and paved walking trails.
Things to Do
We are located at the base of the Perth hills so there are plenty of walking trails, waterfalls and orchards to explore.
Fremantle is a 40 minute drive - explore historic Fremantle, the markets, foodie heaven, catch the ferry to Rottnest Island, Fremantle Gaol.
Perth City - The city centre, Perth Mint, London Court, Kings Park or catch the train to the city and the ferry across to Perth Zoo.
The Southwest - We are a 30 minute drive to Rockingham and Safety Bay with stunning beaches and Penguin Island. 40 minutes to Mandurah with it's stunning beaches and shopping.
Margaret River 2 1/2 hours to surf beaches, wineries, great food.
Albany 4 hours.
Getting to my home
There is adequate public transport but a car would be the best to explore the area and further afield.
Nearest airport
The nearest airport is Perth International and domestic terminals. There is a train from the domestic Terminals 1 & 2 to the city and you can change trains there to Byford. A bus from the Byford train station will bring you to within a 3 minute walk to our home but a hire care would make life easier to explore from here.
Getting Around
Easy walking distance to the small shopping centre with IGA, bottleshop, take away restaurants and a micro brewery on the lake just a 1km walk.
The bus stop is a 3 minute walk at the park which will take you into town (10 minutes) where there are larger supermarkets, cafe's, eateries, takeaway, pubs and a tavern. The bus also stops at the local train station which will take you into the city of Perth (35 minutes).

My husband and I love to travel as much as we can around our work schedules. Hubby is a school principal which limits us to traveling within school holidays only. I run my own small business. We are quiet and love a relaxing getaway with local areas or interest to explore. Pets are not a problem as we have pets ourselves and have had dogs, cats, birds, cows and horses in the past. Farming experience also. We have a German Shepherd but if dog sitting is not your thing we can have her fostered out to family for your stay. Unfortunately they shed and as much as we clean our home would not be suitable for people with allergies to dogs.
