General Overview

Top-floor Plateau flat with two balconies and fireworks views This is a top-floor apartment in a classic Montreal building, with the original stained glass, decorative columns, and hardwood floors. Two skylights keep it bright, and the living room gets great sun in the late afternoon. The rooms There are three bedrooms. The main bedroom has a queen bed, and the second has an extra-large queen. The third is set up as an office/workshop, but it has foldable foam matresses. There’s a separate dining room with a table for proper meals. The bathroom has a deep soaking tub and a separate large glass shower, which is nice after a long day of walking around the city. The bathroom has a simple bidet. The kitchen It’s well stocked if you like to cook: Vitamix, food processor, Zojirushi rice cooker, countertop pizza oven, espresso maker, and a dishwasher. There’s also a washer and dryer in the apartment, plus electric heat and air conditioning. Outside There’s a small balcony on the boulevard side and a big terrace in the back surrounded by trees. It’s where we drink our morning coffee and eat dinner most of the summer. During the international fireworks competition you can watch the show from the back terrace without the crowds or the noise. When the leaves aren’t too thick, you can see the cross on Mount Royal and the downtown skyline. For working The wifi is fast and reaches every room. There are two adjustable standing desks with external monitors, and a good sound system that plays records, cassettes, or anything over Bluetooth
