General Overview

Our cottage is located directly on the Neuse River in North Carolina. We have 180° views of water, Wake early to watch the sunrise, or relax on the deck and watch the sunset turn the river pink. It’s quite a picture. Bring your fishing rods or your tubes and relax in the water. head to Oriental North Carolina, the sail boating capital of the US, for your fresh catch of the day or head into New Bern and visit Tryon Palace or the many festivals that go on. They are year-round. The ferry in Minnesott, 10 minutes away, will take you over to Beaufort or Morehead City. Always something to do, but sometimes it’s best to sit on the deck and breathe the salty air.

The space has bedrooms down and living up, decks on both levels to view the water. can sleep 4 or 5 people

Getting Around

Once you get here, if you decide you’d like to go to Beaufort or Moorhead City you can drive 10 minutes away to Minnesott. Grab the ferry there and drive another 15 minutes to your destination. We are about 11 minutes to Oriental. or 30 minutes to New Bern, which host several craft fairs and festivals every
