Welcome to our charming, character-filled family home in Snells Beach, a peaceful coastal village in one of New Zealand’s most beautiful regions.

Our five-bedroom home is full of personality, warmth and cosy spaces. It’s not your typical modern holiday house, and that’s part of what makes it special! With lovely sea views, generous living areas, beautiful surroundings and plenty of space for everyone, it’s a wonderful place to settle in and experience everyday life in New Zealand.

The house

The main living area is upstairs, where you’ll find a comfortable lounge, a fully equipped kitchen and beautiful views of the sea. A deck wraps around the upper level, offering lovely spots to enjoy your morning coffee, relax outdoors or simply take in the coastal scenery.

Our kitchen is set up for people who love cooking! It has all the essential appliances, including a Thermomix, and an excellent oven for anyone who enjoys baking. Whether you’re preparing a quick family breakfast or a homemade dinner, you’ll have everything you need.

The house has five bedrooms, a dedicated office and multiple living spaces, making it particularly comfortable for families or anyone needing a little extra room.

Downstairs, there’s a second living area, a children’s playroom and cosy corners for reading, playing or simply relaxing. With different spaces spread across the two levels, everyone can find their own little retreat.

Both upstairs and downstairs have wood burners, making the home especially cosy during the cooler months.

Outdoor living

One of our favourite things about the property is the outdoor space. We have a generous garden, outdoor seating with a comfortable sofa, a barbecue and even a pizza oven, perfect for relaxed family meals and evenings together.

The property is fully fenced, providing a lovely outdoor environment for families with children.

There’s also off-street parking for two cars.

Location and surroundings

Snells Beach is a beautiful, relaxed coastal community, surrounded by beaches, nature, charming villages and wonderful places to explore.

We’re just minutes from the beach, local cafés, playgrounds and everyday essentials. There’s a local grocery store, with a larger supermarket approximately 10 minutes away. Medical services and dentists are also conveniently located nearby.

Some of our favourite nearby destinations include:

* Matakana Village (around 15 minutes), known for its cafés, restaurants, boutique shops and famous farmers’ market.
* Omaha Beach (around 20 minutes), a beautiful sandy beach perfect for long walks and family beach days.
* Tāwharanui Regional Park (around 25–30 minutes), one of the region’s most spectacular coastal destinations, with beautiful beaches, walking trails and wildlife.
* Auckland city, within driving distance for day trips, shopping and sightseeing.

The surrounding region also offers vineyards, coastal walks, local markets, beautiful scenery and plenty of opportunities to explore the outdoors.

A home away from home

This is our much-loved family home, not just a holiday rental. It’s a place where children play, meals are shared, books are enjoyed and family memories are made.
