General Overview

It’s a bright and characterful property dating back to 1840 with 4 bedrooms laid out over 3 floors. A lovely large dining space that comfortably seats 8 and a nice modern kitchen. There’s a large wood burner in the dining room and a good supply of logs will be provided as well as a gas fire in the lounge for the cosy vibes as well as the usual central heating. The garden is enclosed but a few meters walk from the house via access through a neighbours garden which adds to the quirkiness of this place and ensures you get to meet the wonderful neighbours. There’s a bbq grill and a good dining table and chairs out there as well as a couple of sun loungers for the occasional sunny day. The bedrooms are set up as 2 doubles and 2 kids rooms, one with a bit and one with a single bed but an extra single bed can be made available if required.

We are a family with 2 small children and a lovely little dog. We live in an old townhouse in the vibrant market town of Settle on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. We love long holidays in Italy and are excited to try house swapping. We used to run an Airbnb so are experienced super hosts but are new to home exchange.
