Welcome to our hilltop home on nearly two acres in Bonsall, with panoramic views over the rolling hills of North San Diego County. The sunsets here are the nightly event. The house has three bedrooms and two upgraded bathrooms, including a primary suite with a king bed and an ensuite soaking tub, plus a separate two-bedroom wing so everyone gets their own space. The open chef's kitchen, with a large pantry, is made for cooking big dinners and taking them outside to enjoy the view. Ceiling fans, an oversized three-car garage, and keyless smart-lock entry make the stay easy.

You get country calm without being far from anything. Oceanside's beaches and pier are about 25 minutes away, and Carlsbad and Legoland are close behind. Temecula wine country is a short drive north for tastings and hot air balloon rides. Nearby Fallbrook has a charming Main Street with cafés, antique shops, art galleries, and a weekly farmers market. Outdoor lovers can hike or ride the San Luis Rey River Trail, play golf at local courses, or take a day trip to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park or Palomar Mountain.

It's the perfect home base for exploring Southern California, and just as nice for doing nothing at all.
