General Overview

Our home is a relaxed family home in beautiful Far North Queensland, where tropical living and outdoor adventures are part of everyday life. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 living areas and a seperate kitchen. We have a large spacious outdoor area also making it comfortable for families or groups travelling together. One of our favourite things about our home is being able to enjoy the sunshine and spend time outdoors, especially around our lovely new pool. We have a comfortable home that’s perfect for families, with space to relax, spend time together and unwind after a day exploring everything the region has to offer. From beautiful beaches and rainforest walks to waterfalls, swimming spots and the Great Barrier Reef, there’s so much to discover nearby.

The Space

Welcome to our home in beautiful Far North Queensland! 🌴 Our home is a relaxed, family-friendly space where you can unwind and enjoy everything this beautiful part of Australia has to offer. We have a lovely outdoor area with a swimming pool, perfect for cooling off in the tropical Queensland heat and enjoying time together as a family. We’re based in Cairns, making a great base for exploring the region, whether you want to discover the Great Barrier Reef, explore the rainforest, visit the stunning beaches or simply enjoy the laid-back tropical lifestyle. Our home is well suited to families, with space to relax and enjoy a comfortable stay. We love the idea of home exchanging because it gives you the opportunity to experience somewhere new while enjoying all the comforts of a real home. We look forward to welcoming you to our little slice of tropical paradise! ☀️

Guest Access

Our home is a single-storey house, so there are no internal stairs to worry about. Guests have access to the main living areas, bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms and outdoor entertaining area, including the swimming pool. The property is fully fenced, with gated access to the front entrance. We’ll provide all the necessary information for accessing the home before your arrival. We live in beautiful Far North Queensland, where you can enjoy a relaxed tropical lifestyle and use Cairns as a base to explore the region. There’s plenty to see and do nearby, from beautiful beaches and swimming spots to local cafés, restaurants, shopping centres and outdoor activities. Cairns is also the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and the World Heritage-listed Daintree Rainforest. The area is ideal for families and anyone who enjoys warm weather, nature and exploring the outdoors. We’re happy to share our favourite local spots and recommendations to help you make the most of your stay!

Getting to my home

The nearest airport is Cairns Airport (CNS), which services domestic and international flights. Depending on your arrival point, you can reach our home by hire car, taxi or rideshare. Having a car is a great option if you want to explore more of Far North Queensland, including the surrounding beaches, rainforest and regional attractions. We’ll provide our address and check-in instructions before your arrival to help make getting to the property as easy as possible. If you’re arriving from overseas or interstate, we recommend checking transport options ahead of time, particularly if you plan to explore beyond Cairns.

We’re a family of four living in beautiful Far North Queensland, Australia, with two young kids. I work in medical research at the hospital and my partner is a fire fighter. We love spending time outdoors, enjoying the tropical lifestyle and making memories together as a family.
