General Overview
Our home is a comfortable two-story house tucked into a quiet, tree-filled neighborhood in Southwest Portland. It has four bedrooms and two and a half baths, so there’s real room to spread out, whether you’re a family, a group of friends, or a couple who likes space.
The heart of the house is the large private deck, set up among the trees. It’s the spot for morning coffee, an evening drink, or a book, with leafy views and the sound of birds instead of traffic. When it’s wet (this is Portland, after all), there’s a cozy living room and a separate family room, so everyone can gather or find their own corner. And after a day of hiking or sightseeing, the big bathtub is hard to beat.
We’re close to hiking trails, and about a 15-minute drive gets you to many of Portland’s most interesting spots: great food, coffee, markets, and neighborhoods worth wandering. Our area is quiet and residential, so you get the best of both worlds: a calm place to come home to and the city within easy reach.
Parking is simple. There’s room for one car in the driveway, and street parking is easy for a second. A car is the best way to get around from here.
We love sharing our corner of Portland and are happy to suggest favorite trails, cafes, and restaurants. We want you to feel at home.
The Space
There is plenty of room to spread out here, and there is a lot of natural light. We have 2 friendly mostly indoor cats that could stay if you like them and can care for them (2 times a day feeding, once a day litter scoop) otherwise we can bring them to my mother in law's for your stay.
Guest Access
2 floors, with bedrooms all on the upstairs level, so it's not great for a wheelchair, unfortunately.
Notes
We keep a shoes-off home to protect our light carpets, so you might want thick socks for the winter months. For cleaning, you can leave the house as you found it, or we’re happy to arrange a professional housecleaning for $175.

My family (husband and 13 year old son) and I love to travel and we are ready to have more adventures! We met during an improv theater class and appreciate creativity through art, music, and exploring nature. I'm a PSYCH-K facilitator and my husband is a psychotherapist, and our son is an Elden Ring enthusiast.
(I don't have their photos on here due to the sensitive nature of my husband's work. Progressive and inclusive values)
