General Overview

We absolutely love living here. It’s one of those homes that makes you slow down and enjoy the simple things. The house has three bedrooms, a rumpus room and a fully self-contained granny flat, so there’s plenty of space for families or friends travelling together. The best part is the view. We look out over the valley and never get sick of it. Morning coffee on the deck is one of our favourite parts of the day. Outside is where we spend most of our time. We’ve created a little sanctuary with a Swedish-style sauna, outdoor shower and outdoor bath, surrounded by lush established gardens. Our chooks happily wander around the garden, and if you’re lucky, they’ll even leave you some fresh eggs! The house was architecturally designed, so it’s full of natural light and has a really relaxed feel. It’s not a show home—it’s a much-loved family home, and we hope anyone who stays here feels as at home as we do.

Hi! We’re a family of five from the beautiful Southern Highlands of NSW. We love travelling and are always looking for our next adventure. We spent a few years living in Colorado, USA, and ever since then we’ve been hooked on exploring new places. These days it’s all about showing our three kids the world and making memories together. My husband runs his own international business, so he works from home when he’s not travelling overseas for work. I’m a full-time mum and a creative at heart. If I’m not chasing after the kids, you’ll usually find me sewing something, making ceramics, or dreaming up my next project. As a family, we thrive when outdoors—hiking, mountain biking, skiing, camping, finding new beaches, or simply exploring somewhere we’ve never been before. At home, life revolves around our chickens, veggie garden, good food, and dreaming up our next adventure! We’ve never done a home exchange before, but we love the idea of it. We’d much rather stay somewhere with character, live like a local, and discover the hidden gems than tick off tourist attractions. We hope other families will enjoy our home just as much as we know we’ll enjoy theirs. We’re easy-going, respectful people and will look after your home as if it were our own.
