General Overview
Airy Bi level house with great back yard & Deck, our home is in the city of St. Albert, located just north of Edmonton, AB. 30 mins to the Famous West Edmonton Mall, St. Albert has maintained it's charm and is none as the Botanical City. Walking trails will take you from one end of town to the next, with friendly people to meet along the way.
The Space
Our home is a 4 bedroom Bi level, with access thru the front door, and the back door, off the large deck.
We are a non smoking and pet free home.
The house is completely stocked with all necessary appliances, and the huge Starbucks mug collection is there to be used. While staying at our house, every morning you can choose "where to visit" while selecting your favorite mug. Currently the house has 2 queen beds and a single, as well as a queen pull out (not pictured).
The backyard has a new side deck, with gazebo & hot tub! Pictures coming soon.
Guest Access
Being a bi level, there are stairs to be climbed. Upon entering thru the front door, there are 2 small (6 steps each) sets of stairs, one to go to the main level where the kitchen, living room, bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are. The other set takes you to the lower level, where the other bedrooms, 3rd bathroom and laundry room are located. The back door leads to the deck, which is off the main level, and has 6 steps to go down.

Neighbourhood
We are located in a mature area of St. Albert. There are walking trails, and a neighborhood lake within walking distance. The are beautiful trees lining almost every street in town. The city has multiple parks, including a huge splash park and skate park. From June thru October, every Saturday, the downtown area closes for the St. Albert Farmers Market, The largest outdoor market in Western Canada.
St. Albert has consistently been named one of the best places to live in Canada.
Getting to my home
Our house is quite easy to get to, with multiple main roads providing quick access.
Nearest airport
The Edmonton International Airport is 35 mins away.
Getting Around
Although St. Albert has grown over the 40 years I have lived here, it has maintained it's small town atmosphere. Everything is close, no more than 15mins away. There are grocery stores less than 5 mins in either direction. Plenty of restaurants, both well known chains, and amazing local hidden treasures.

We are a family of 5, Isaak & myself, and our 3 young adult children. While our daughter has "flown the coop" our 2 sons still live with us. We mostly travel just the 2 of us, and are extremely respectful. I have owned a residential cleaning business for the last 14 years, and know how to treat everywhere I go as if it's my own.
We love seeing visiting different places, and immersing ourselves in the atmosphere.
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
