Welcome to our cool and cozy penthouse located in the vibrant Södermalm district, right by Mariatorget. With modern décor and charming rooftop windows, our apartment bathes in natural light and offers a warm, homely atmosphere.

Enjoy morning coffee or evening wine on our sunny terrace while soaking in views of Stockholm’s iconic black tin rooftops and chimneys. The apartment features a comfortable double bedroom and a spacious open-plan kitchen and living area—perfect for relaxing after a day of urban adventures.

This is our primary residence, so expect a fully lived-in space with personality and warmth. You’ll find clothes in the closets (although we will empty a couple for you), dry goods in the pantry, and all the tools a serious cook could need — including high-quality cookware, spices, oils, table linens, and glassware. We value thoughtful hosting and provide fine bed linens, extra pillows, towels, and coffee for our guests.

Helena & Peter

Helena & Peter – Creative, Curious, and Vespa-Loving Explorers from Stockholm

We’re a friendly couple in our 60s, living in the heart of Södermalm, Stockholm. Helena works part-time as a UX writer, and Peter is an agile coach with a passion for flexible thinking.  While we’re no longer working full-time, we stay actively engaged in both professional projects and personal passions.

Helena’s greatest joy (besides her grandchildren) is zipping around on her beloved Vespas. Peter is currently on a quirky quest to master his EUC (electric unicycle). We both love discovering new restaurants, enjoying rooftop bars with city views, and listening to music — anything from pop to rock.

Family is a big part of our lives, and we adore spending time with our grandchildren. We believe travel is about connection, curiosity, and comfort, and we take great care of the homes we stay in. We're happy exchangers and always happy to share tips about our favorite local spots — especially if they involve a good cup of coffee or a scenic ride.
