General Overview

Our home has three bedrooms, Three bathrooms, Office, Open plan lounge dinning room Kitchen with scullery, Large covered verandah with glass fully opening to bring the outdoors in, Large outdoor fireplace.

The Space

Situated on a peninsula called Plummers Point on 3/4 of an acre our home overlooks the Tauranga Harbour. Well established gardens, trees, Banana palms, in season fruit trees and a vege garden are all available for the picking. A short walk to the harbour for a dip or a paddle board or Kayak (both are provided) its ideal for those hot summer days. Fish from the jetty a five minute walk away or take a walk around the point on the pathway that follows the coast line of the point taking in sun rise and or sunset is a must.

Our home is single level with all round decks with a one or two steps up. All decks are covered with clear roof so all day sun and light. The house has been completely renovated in 2025 so all as new.

Neighbourhood

Our Neighbourhood is a mix of lifestyle and orchid blocks Kiwifruit and Avocadoes mainly. We are about five minutes drive to the nearest shops and about a 20 minute drive to the city of Tauranga. 30 Minutes drive to Mt Manganui surf beaches where you find our beautiful sandy coast line extending as far as you can see.

Getting to my home

We have a car availible for guest to use if they wish. Taxis or Uber from the Tauranga Airport about 25 minutes away. We have two Ebikes for use and the bike trail is right outside our door providing a designated cycle way to the city and the beaches and beyond.

Tauranga Airport is 25 minutes away.

Getting Around

We are five minutes drive to the closest shops and 20 minutes from the city of Tauranga.

We are a couple now married for 35 years and have a grownup family of three with one grandchild and more on the way which is so very cool and exciting. We live in a beautiful part of the planet called Tauranga in New Zealand in a rural location called "Whakamarama" which means to Illuminate, explain or clarify in Te Reo Maori. We are out doorsy type people who love walking, Boating, Fishing, Skiing and more. We have a dog called Stig a cat called Jag who we share our house and property with. They very much make the rules... We have never house swapped so are in new territory but very keen to meet new people and share our wonderful property and surrounds.
