General Overview

Welcome to my modern and spacious apartment in Seoul!

Depending on the dates, there are a couple of ways an exchange can work. When I’m traveling, the entire apartment may be available for you to enjoy on your own. At other times, I’m also happy to consider a hospitality-style exchange where you stay in a private room while I’m at home.

The private room is entirely yours and is suitable for up to two people. It has a sofa bed with an additional comfortable topper for sleeping.

You’re welcome to use the shared living room, kitchen, bathroom, and dining/work area as well. The apartment is relatively new, bright, clean, and well maintained, with plenty of space to relax, have a meal, or work comfortably.

If we’re sharing the apartment, I’m usually out for work on weekdays from around 8 a.m. until the evening, so you’ll still have plenty of privacy and time to enjoy the space on your own.

I’m happy to share recommendations or answer any questions about Seoul and Korea. If our schedules happen to match, it would also be nice to have a chat or spend some time together, but I completely respect members who prefer to explore independently.

The apartment is in a residential area of Seoul with convenient public transportation to different parts of the city. It’s a nice opportunity to experience everyday life in Seoul and stay in a real local home rather than a tourist accommodation.

I’m open to different exchange arrangements depending on the dates, so please feel free to message me and we can see what works for both of us. I’d be happy to welcome solo travelers, friends, or couples to Seoul!

[About the Area]
The apartment is located in a quiet and safe residential neighborhood in eastern Seoul, where you can experience a more local side of the city while still having easy access to many of Seoul’s most popular areas.

A bus stop is just a 3-minute walk away, and Dapsimni Station (Line 5) is about a 13-minute walk from the apartment.

From Dapsimni Station, getting around Seoul is easy:

• Wangsimni – about 3 min, direct
• Dongdaemun / DDP – about 10 min, direct
• Seongsu – about 10 min
• Jongno 3-ga & Ikseondong – about 12 min, direct
• Gwanghwamun – about 15 min, direct
• Myeongdong – about 16 min
• Seoul Station – about 20 min
• Jamsil & Lotte World – about 23 min
• Yeouido – about 29 min, direct
• Gimpo Airport – about 56 min, direct on Line 5

The neighborhood itself is peaceful and residential rather than overly touristy, with convenience stores, restaurants, cafés, and everyday amenities nearby.

It’s a great base if you want to explore places like Seongsu, Myeongdong, Jongno, Gwanghwamun, Dongdaemun and Jamsil during the day, then come back to a quieter and more comfortable neighborhood at night.
