General Overview

In the highly desirable country club neighborhood of 12 Oaks, our beautiful home is 4600 sq ft, with 5 bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, plus an extra half bath by the tv room. We have a large, fenced in backyard with a fire pit and trampoline. The house has an open floor plan with a large kitchen, great for gathering as a family. We have lived here with my extended family before and hosted large family functions here very comfortably! We are in a small cul de sac so not a lot of street traffic in front of the house. The neighborhood is another huge perk! We often joke here that it feels like you’ve gone back in time here- everyone is out walking and exercising and saying hi to each other. It’s a large neighborhood with 3+ playgrounds, 3 pools, pickleball courts, and tennis courts. These are included in our membership to the “club.” There is a golf course here too, but that would require golfing with a member (we can likely help with that if desired). There are also streams, ponds, walking trails, etc. Raleigh, Durham, and the surrounding towns are wonderful to visit and super family friendly! Within 30 minutes you’ll find: -Raleigh and Durham -UNC (Chapel Hill) -Duke University -NC State (Raleigh) -beautiful parks/outdoor spaces like Umstead, Raven Rocks, Eno River, etc. -museums like the Museum of Life and Science (think treehouses and butterfly releases, NC Museum of Natural Sciences, etc. -breweries and delicious restaurants -lots more! You are also just over 2 hours from the beach and the mountains, and within 5 hours of DC, Richmond, Williamsburg, Charleston, Charlotte, and Asheville.
