General overview
Our home is about 150m to a very good swimming beach. There is a walking and bicycle path along the beach which is very popular during most of the day. About 500m inland is a nature reserve which has the best of the regions flora and fauna available.
The beaches near us a very child friendly and safe although a 5 to 15 minute drive will take you to some of Perth's best surfing beaches..
The space
Our home is on the northern beaches 20 minutes from the Perth centre. Our beach is sheltered with reefs and so adults children can swim safely.
The house is on three levels - two at the front and one at the back. The top level is a parents area with ensuite and walk-in wardrobe. It has its our sitting area with very good ocean views.
The middle level has kitchen, dining, lounge and laundry.
The entry level has two bedrooms, a study, bathroom and toilet.
The kitchen has all modern appliances.
There is a patio out the front with some ocean views and a larger one at the rear which is sheltered.
The house has had extensive renovations including new double glazing, carpets, painting etc.
There are three TVs - parents area upstairs, lounge room and rear patio with Apple TV and streaming channels.
There is high speed (about 90mbps) unlimited broadband wifi system which cover the entire house.
There is a double lock up garage. Citroen Gand Picasso 7 seater or Porsche Cayenne.
North Beach is located a few km from the main north-south freeway and east-west freeways which means getting around is easy.

There are 3 levels wth two sets of about 8 stairs. It’s not suitable for wheelchair access.

We couldn’t have had a better ‘first experience’ on the PLU platform. My sister and I stayed at Mike’s house for 8 nights, in exchange for a precious globe. Mike welcomed us on arrival and gave us a little tour. The house was clean and spacious, with several indoor and outdoor seating areas. The beds were extremely comfortable and so was the rain shower. The large Citroen Grand Picasso was the icing on the cake. The house is located only 150 meters from the ocean in a quiet location. There’s a small local supermarket for all your needs, and only a 10-minute drive away a very large mall. We’ve created some unforgettable memories! From walks along the ocean, to wildlife spotting in the National Parks (Whiteman and Yanchep). We visited Penguin Island and spotted many birds. However, Rottnest Island was definitely the highlight, meeting the quokkas. Perth CBD is easy to reach in 10 minutes, with the train from Sterling. And on the one rainy day, we had a great time in an escape room near Joondalup. We could easily have spent another week at Mike’s home and would highly recommend his place.
