We had a wonderful home exchange stay in Mike and Lesley's home at North Beach, The location was fantastic—just an easy 80-metre walk to the beach, which made morning swims and evening sunset walks a real highlight. The Public transport in Perth is excellent and very convenient to the home with a bus stop around the corner and the Transperth app making it so easy to get to the bigger shopping centres, Perth city or other beaches in the area ( Hillarys and Scarborough beaches are great locations to visit) The home was very comfortable and well equipped with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay, water views from the lounge was lovely to look at each day to watch the boats and wind surfers. The area is very relaxed, safe, and welcoming, and it was the perfect base for enjoying the coastline and local amenities. Mikes communication was efficient and informative, We would happily recommend this home and location to other exchangers and would love to return in the future.

Nice, spacious house and in the hot summer nice and cool with the quiet air conditioning! The lounge-relax chairs are top-notch. (Pot) = Plants needed a lot of water, covered area is great for sunbathing in the summer morning. We mainly came for the nice beach and resting. Everything within walking distance, good coffee house and bakery, nice restaurants, shop that are fine. Good Thai massage nearby. Communication with Mike went well, and drinking coffee halfway through our two-week stay was nice to see and speak to each other in person. Welcome to the Netherlands in May 2025 for your stay in my house.

We couldn’t have had a better ‘first experience’ on the PLU platform. My sister and I stayed at Mike’s house for 8 nights, in exchange for a precious globe. Mike welcomed us on arrival and gave us a little tour. The house was clean and spacious, with several indoor and outdoor seating areas. The beds were extremely comfortable and so was the rain shower. The large Citroen Grand Picasso was the icing on the cake. The house is located only 150 meters from the ocean in a quiet location. There’s a small local supermarket for all your needs, and only a 10-minute drive away a very large mall. We’ve created some unforgettable memories! From walks along the ocean, to wildlife spotting in the National Parks (Whiteman and Yanchep). We visited Penguin Island and spotted many birds. However, Rottnest Island was definitely the highlight, meeting the quokkas. Perth CBD is easy to reach in 10 minutes, with the train from Sterling. And on the one rainy day, we had a great time in an escape room near Joondalup. We could easily have spent another week at Mike’s home and would highly recommend his place.
