General Overview

My home is a bright and comfortable studio apartment in NDG, one of Montreal’s established residential neighbourhoods. What I like most about it is the combination of space, simplicity, and convenience. The main living area is open and flexible, with enough room to sleep comfortably, work from home, read, or simply relax. There is a separate kitchen, good storage space, large windows that bring in plenty of natural light, and a practical desk/work area. The apartment is fully set up for everyday living, with a bed and bed frame, desk and chair, microwave, full-size refrigerator, stove/oven, window blinds, Wi-Fi, and laundry available in the building. It is not a luxury apartment, but it is comfortable, functional, quiet, and easy to settle into. I especially enjoy being in NDG because the neighbourhood feels residential and relaxed while still giving easy access to cafés, grocery stores, libraries, parks, restaurants, and public transit toward downtown Montreal. For someone visiting Montreal, I think it makes a great base: you can enjoy the city during the day and come back to a calm, comfortable space in the evening.

Olanrewaju

I’m Lanre, originally from Nigeria and currently based in Montreal, with Toronto increasingly becoming the next chapter. I work in cloud and cybersecurity and also spend a lot of time building entrepreneurial and community-focused projects. Outside work, I’m an avid reader, long-distance runner, cyclist, and lifelong learner. I’ve completed more than 20 marathons and enjoy staying active, discovering new neighbourhoods, good conversations, bookstores, cafés, and meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds. I’ve lived in Toronto before and am now preparing for a possible move back to the city. I’m particularly interested in home exchange because I like the idea of people helping one another make better use of homes that would otherwise be empty while travelling. I’m clean, responsible, respectful of other people’s homes, and would treat an exchange home with the same care I expect for my own.
