Our neighborhood has two main shopping areas, one at the bottom of the hill and one at the top of the hill. You can find several grocery and clothing stores, hardware stores, pharmacies, restaurants, nail salons, shipping companies, dentists, doctors, massage, therapists, etc.
Nearest airport
Seattle/Tacoma Airport is 14 miles south of us.
Getting Around
A bus stop to downtown Seattle is one block away. We live walking distance to the Seattle Momorail which goes to downtown in about 8 minutes. The Seattle Light Rail connects to Tacoma in the south up to Everett in the north.

Peri and I have been to France more than a dozen times. He has French cousins living in Lyon and near Besançon. We have been married for 35 years and have an adult daughter. We are looking for a "long-term" stay—up to three months—because we want to improve our spoken French and meet new friends! This will be our first home exchange. During our time in France, we plan to visit the Czech Republic. Peri and our daughter hold dual citizenship, as Peri’s father was born in Prague.
