Family We’re a married couple who have been together for many years and love having a home that feels relaxed, welcoming, and a little bit different from everyday life. We split our time between North Carolina and our home in Vieques, Puerto Rico, where we’ve created a place that reflects our love of the Caribbean, nature, good food, and slowing down enough to actually enjoy where we are. We’re independent, easygoing travelers who appreciate beautiful surroundings but care much more about the experience of a place than luxury for its own sake. We love discovering local restaurants, swimming, exploring, and finding those little places and experiences that make a destination feel like home. Experience with home exchange We’re relatively new to home exchange, but we love the idea behind it. We’re much more interested in a genuine exchange of homes and experiences than a traditional vacation rental. Our Vieques home is a place we personally love and spend time in, so we understand the importance of treating someone else’s home with the same care and respect we would want for ours. We’re clean, responsible, communicative, and respectful guests, and we’re looking for people who feel the same way. We especially love the idea of connecting with other people who have a home they’re proud of and enjoy sharing — and who want to experience Vieques in a more personal, local way.
