General Overview

Our home is a bright modern 3 bedroom family home, located at the end of a quiet residential street in Auchterarder, Perthshire. We are located a short 10 minute drive from Gleneagles train station (with connecting buses to Auchterarder), should you not have a car. If you hire a car, we also recommend exploring some very pretty nearby towns in Perthshire- eg, Crieff, Dunkeld, Pitlochry- making it the perfect day out where you can enjoy exploring the local scenery, cafes, shops and river walks. Other nearby larger towns worth exploring include Bridge of Allan and Stirling. You can easily have a day out in Edinburgh or Glasgow if the big city is calling, with direct train service from Gleneagles train station (or a 1 hour drive away). We’re also conveniently just a 5 minute drive (half hour walk) from the beautiful world renowned 5 star Gleneagles hotel and golf resort, for any keen golfers out there (or if you just fancy treating yourself to a spa treatment or afternoon tea). There are beautiful walks also on your doorstep. Whilst we do have cats, our furry friends will not be on-site during your stay. The Space

Our house can sleep up to 6 people comfortably. There are three bedrooms upstairs. There’s a master king bedroom with ensuite, second double bedroom (with work station if required), single bedroom. Second bathroom/shower upstairs. There’s a sofa bed downstairs in the living room (suitable for 1 adult or 2 children). And a separate w/c (washroom) on ground level too. Downstairs is open plan living in a bright and airy space, comprising kitchen/dining/living area, and separate utility room with washer dryer. The living space opens out via French doors on to the patio and garden area. There also a small tv snug room, ideal for keeping the kids entertained.

Private driveway that fits 2 cars. Our house is over two levels (ground level and bedrooms on first floor).

We’re a short 5 minute walk to the main high street of Auchterarder, where you’ll find a selection of independent shops, butcher, amenities, cafes and restaurants.

Getting to my home

We’re the perfect central location for your trip to Scotland, located one hour train/car journey north of Edinburgh and Glasgow (trains to Gleneagles), and 2 hours further north is Aviemore (your gateway to the Scottish highlands). Two hours west is the beautiful west coast and access to beautiful coastal spots like Oban and ferries to the Scottish isles such as Mull and Skye.

Nearest airport

Edinburgh airport is your closest, approximate one hour drive (28miles). Glasgow airport is just over an hours drive away (41miles)
