Neighbourhood

We live in a very friendly residential neighborhood. The beach is one of the nicest in Europe. Perfect for kids to play or long strolls to make and only 1,5km away.

Getting Around

De haan is a very cosy town with beautifully restored belle-epoque houses. There are enough places to eat & drink in the center. The center is appr. 3 km away. Only 10 min by bike. To the east, we have a bigger city: Oostende. Oostende has a very beautiful promenade to stroll and a lot of (cultural) events to participate in. You can reach Oostende with the local tramway or with the car (10min). Our home is also an ideal starting point to bike in the beautiful "polders". We have a very good cycling network in Belgium to find your way. If you're in Belgium, you must also visit the historical centers of Brugge (20min), Gent (40min), Antwerp (1h30min) and Brussels (1h30min).
