Our home is in a quiet, nature filled neighborhood that is minutes from bus lines and bike paths, as well as hikes along gorgeous trails. There are often deer and wild turkey wandering on our property. Many families live in our neighborhood and it is quiet and safe, with literally no traffic. However it takes just a few minutes to walk or drive to shops, restaurants and other entertainment options.

The Space

Our home has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with a great open floor plan. The kitchen is spacious, updated and well equipped. A dining room flows into the living room with lovely artwork, a piano and comfortable seating. There is a bonus playroom/entertainment room as well on the first floor. Laundry room is located next to the kitchen with access to our beautiful backyard that has outdoor dining, a grill and kids activities!

Guest Access

Our home has 2 floors, the bedrooms and office are upstairs with 2 full bathrooms (both with bath tub/shower). The main floor has a half bath along with kitchen, dining room, entertainment room and living room.

Notes

Eugene is located in the beautiful Willamette Valley in Western Oregon, a hours drive to the Pacific Ocean! There are many wineries within 30 minutes as well as breweries in town. We have a wonderful university and performing arts center, museums, fantastic outdoor adventures like hiking and mountain biking trails. Additionally it is one hour drive to the Pacific Ocean and one hour drive to the cascade mountain range where there is snow and ski opportunities. Eugene is known as Track Town USA for his historic track and field culture, hosting major national and international track and field events each year. Big name concerts and performance acts come to Eugene, and we have the iconic Oregon Country Fair each July 20 minutes from town, an annual music, arts and cultural experience where hippies and free spirits abound.

Neighbourhood

Our neighborhood has several schools, playgrounds, walking and hiking trails, bike paths that connect to the downtown, university and river paths. It is a quiet residential neighborhood with minimal vehicle traffic, allowing it to feel very private and remote while being steps from the activity of our wonderful city!

Getting to my home

There is an airport in Eugene, the city we are located in. This airport is about 15 minute drive from our home. Portland, OR is about 2 hours to the North and has a larger international airport.

We are an adventurous family of 4, with boys age 5 and 8, who love to travel and explore the world and the great outdoors! I am a mental health therapist, my husband is a music teacher and we both play various instruments. We are able to host anytime, as we have family who live nearby that we can easily stay with making our home available. We are currently eager to arrange a summer in France, June-August 2027 and are open to exploring different parts of the country. My husband is an avid paraglider pilot, speaks French fluently and teaches at the French immersion school our children attend.
