My townhouse, in a row of 5 co-joined units constructed in 2025 and situated just one block from the Main street of Bozeman, offers you 1900 sq.ft. (180 sq.m.) of modern, spacious, easy-care accommodation spread over three levels, with light-filled rooms and sweeping views of the nearby Bridger mountains.

The Space

In the uppermost level you can relax in the calm, quiet retreat of the main bedroom with its queen bed and large ensuite bathroom, along with two other bedrooms (one with queen bed and the other with two twin beds) plus an additional bathroom with full sized bath

In the middle level, you have plenty of room to spread out in the spacious living area or step outside for some fresh air on the small balcony. A large, well-equipped kitchen including espresso machine will surely satisfy those who like to cook, and the laundry room features rapid cycle washing and drying machines so you’ll never run out of clean clothes. 

On the ground level, the main entrance leads past the stairs to an additional living area which functions either as a separate TV room, kids hideaway or an office space (with desk) . A single car lockup garage completes the ground floor space.

Outside the townhouse, there's a common area with grassed area with a table and bench seating.

Guest Access

The townhouse is built over 3 levels - ground floor and 2 upper floors.
For worry free entry, access is via a digital lock or alternatively by using the key stored in a lock box at the rear of the property.

Notes

Please be aware that if you charge a cleaning fee for a reciprocal exchange (either simultaneous or non-simultaneous), then a cleaning fee of equal value will apply to the exchange stay at my townhouse. A cleaning fee however does not apply if it is a one way visit using a Globe.

Neighbourhood

Although Bozeman may be rather unknown to most people, if you love the outdoors, grand expanses of country with mountains rising dramatically from the plains, you’re sure to love Bozeman.  And if the scenery alone isn’t enough, the surrounding Bridger, Gallatin, and Tobacco Root Mountains boast some of the world's best hiking, biking, skiing, rafting and fly fishing.  It’s a place to relax, enjoy the fresh air, and forget the rush and hassle of big cities.  And whilst Bozeman with its population of around 58,000 may not have the bright lights and frenzied activity of big cities, it nevertheless has activity and infrastructure typically only present in much larger cities, but still retains a small-town charm, with historic buildings lining its active main street and underlying Western roots.  It's also a college town with almost 17,000 students attending Montana State University, just a few blocks from the center of Downtown. 
 
Unlike so many towns (and cities) in the US, Bozeman has a charming and vibrant Downtown, full of life and almost devoid of boring chain stores and franchised food outlets. Along the main street, you’ll find an eclectic mix of local businesses - galleries, outdoor clothes outfitters, independent bookshops, homeware shops, a hardware store, specialist shops, coffee shops, and a swag of restaurants. And you’ll find NO franchise establishments like Starbucks, McDonalds etc. in the heart of Downtown. 

At night, there’s plenty of bars, restaurants, breweries and other drinking establishments to investigate, each with their own unique character and many with live music. But it’s probably not the place to come if you’re looking for crowds, bright city lights, and an upmarket shopping experience.  

Within 45 mins. drive, apart from hiking & fishing, you can go skiing, mountain biking, rafting, tubing, kayaking, ballooning, zip lining, visiting caves, swimming, (two pools and even a 'beach' within the city limits), playing tennis or pickleball at free public courts, horseback riding and more. Just 15 mins drive takes you to the start of numerous walking trails up the Bridger mountains, 1 ½ hours takes you to Yellowstone National Park, 5 hrs to Glacier National Park, and less than 1 hr to the Big Sky ski resort (also with extensive summer activities). 

Bozeman has one of only two computer museums in the US and is home to the Museum of The Rockies - a must see for dinosaur fans. The railway museum in Livingstone (30 mins away) and the local Gallatin History Museum are also both worth a visit.

Or for just beautiful sunset views over the surrounding mountains, you can join the myriad of dog lovers in the evening on a stroll along the ridge at the back of the library.

Getting to my home

If coming via Yellowstone International airport, be aware you need to order a taxi or shared ride as there is no taxi stand at the airport. Uber and Lyft operate within the Bozeman region.

Rental cars are available at Bozeman airport but be aware that they are exceptionally expensive because massive demand for trips to Yellowstone National Park outweighs the available vehicle supply.

Nearest airport

Yellowstone International airport in approx 8 miles away. It is serviced by Alaska Airlines, Allegiant, American Airlines ,Delta Air Lines, JetBlue, Southwest Airlines, Sun Country, United Airlines.

Getting Around

Less than 5 minutes’ walk brings you to the nearest (Safeway) supermarket, a small shopping center and McDonalds. The heart of Bozeman downtown is just over 1 mile away straight along Main St.

I’m an Australian, and until Feb 2026 when I retired, I owned a business in Bozeman MT where I’ve been living for about 5-6 months of each year for the last 15 years.

I divorced a few years ago so I travel solo, and over the last 12 years or so, have participated in almost 200 exchanges on another platform.

Between about April and November when I’m in Bozeman, I'm open to home swaps almost anywhere in Europe and Central and Sth. America, plus interesting locations in Nth. America and elsewhere. I just need an interesting locale – doesn't need to be a major city.  I prefer stays of 3-4 weeks if possible, so I can get to properly appreciate the locale I’m visiting. Exchanges can be any type, since the townhouse listed here is a second home.

My other main home is in Melbourne Australia. Although I love Melbourne, living in Bozeman is such a delight with its wide-open spaces, superb mountain views, laid back air, iconic Western atmosphere, access to fishing, boating, rafting, mountain climbing, skiing and some of best scenery (and 2 of the best US National Parks) at your doorstep.
