General Overview

My home is in Canary Wharf, one of London’s most modern and vibrant neighbourhoods, surrounded by the Thames, historic docks and the city skyline. It’s a great place to experience London while having a little more space and calm than you’ll find in the busiest central areas.

The Space

Bright, modern and comfortable one-bedroom flat on the 13th floor of a high-rise in Canary Wharf. It has one bedroom, one bathroom, a cosy living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a small balcony, plus a storage cupboard with laundry room in it. Secure bike storage is also available on the lower ground floor if needed.

Neighbourhood

Everything you need is close by: excellent restaurants and cafés, bars, supermarkets, shopping, cinemas, gyms and beautiful waterside walks. Canary Wharf also has surprisingly lovely green spaces, including Jubilee Park and the tropical Crossrail Place Roof Garden, as well as an extensive collection of public art throughout the neighbourhood. One of our favourite things about living here is being right on the water. You can walk along the docks and Thames, explore nearby Greenwich and the Docklands, or even take the river boat into central London. It’s also an incredibly convenient base for exploring the rest of London. Canary Wharf is served by the Elizabeth line, Jubilee line and DLR, making it easy to reach the West End, City, Greenwich and many of London’s main attractions. It really offers the best of both worlds: all the convenience and energy of living in London, with waterfront views, green spaces and a more relaxed atmosphere to come home to.

Nearest airport

For airports, London City Airport is the closest, around 10 minutes by car. London’s other major airports are generally around 1–1.5 hours away , depending on public transport used. Heathrow is particularly convenient with a direct Elizabeth line connection from Canary Wharf, and there are also direct coach services to Stansted, taking around 1 hour 20 minutes.
