General Overview

My penthouse suite has amazing city and mountain views and is located on the edge of downtown Calgary, AB, Canada. Within walking distance to all downtown amenities including exceptional dining, theatre, parks and paved trails, as well as grocery stores and pharmacies with easy access to transit and train. The city hosts a number of festivals throughout the year as it has significant green space. There is a gym on site, as well as one heated underground parking stall. Accomodation comes with one amazing cat! Come see everything Calgary has to offer, including the "largest outdoor festival on earth", the Calgary Stampede!

The Space

The suite is 1377 square feet and has in-suite laundry, as well as air conditioning and boasts a large deck and gourmet kitchen where you can cook your meals for the days you wish to stay in and watch the city light up!. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms with large living area with a 77 inch SMART TV, including basic cable, Prime, Netflix and Apple TV.. Floor to ceiling windows on south and east facing walls boasting sunshine from sunrise to sunset. Suite comes with everything you need for a comfortable stay!

One floor, no stairs, suite is on the 23rd floor. Fob access to building.

Neighbourhood

The condo is located in the Beltline area of Calgary, which is a bustling, inner-city neighborhood just south of the downtown core. The city has a number of eclectic neighborhoods within walking distance including: 1. 17th Avenue, a major entertainment hub that has a number of top-rated restaurants, cafes, pubs and boutiques. 2. Mission, an area lined with over 300 independent shops, lively pubs and a renowned restaurant row. 3. Kensington, a trendy community known for its historic brick architecture and vintage shopping. 4. Riverfront, paved pathways and green spaces along the river where you can find swimming spots, buskers and a small man-made beach with built in recliners. In the winter there is a place to rent skates and skate on the river. Prince's Island Park is a green oasis on the river offering walkways and cycling paths. 5. Stephen Avenue Walk, a downtown historic pedestrian-only brick street lined with lively patios, restaurants and heritage buildings. 6. Inglewood is Calgary's oldest neighborhood and has a trendy, creative arts scene, boutiques, craft breweries and scenic river pathways. 7. Chinatown was formed in the 19th century and has excellent ethnic eating and shopping. 7. Downtown has a number of theatres and extensive dining and shopping. The Core Shopping Centre offers high end shopping including Chanel and Holt Renfrew. Inside the shopping centre is Devonian Gardens, which is a 2.5 acre indoor botanical garden with tropical trees, fish ponds, and water fountains. There is also a children's playground. Calgary Tower is not to missed in downtown. It is a 626 foot free standing observation tower, with a 360 degree observation deck and rotating restaurant. The Olympic Torch is on top which was lit during the 1988 Olympics. Within 40-60 minutes driving distance are the majestic Rocky Mountains that offer hiking, world class skiing, mountain biking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, horse riding and much more!
