The space
Our house is a stylish semi-detached family home built in the early 1850's and it has been beautifully renovated and restored. At the rear of the house is a large south facing garden.
The house extends to approximately 2,300 square feet and it is arranged over four floors. It is very light with high ceilings and lovely views over the garden. The kitchen and dining room are on the entrance level, which leads through to the garden. The kitchen is well equipped with double oven, microwave, gas hob and dishwasher. The third bedroom, which has is own shower room, is on the lower ground floor along with another living area. The master bed is king size 6ft wide, the guest beds are queen size 5ft wide.

Our home is just off St John's Hill, where you will find a number of cafes, bars and restaurants. Northcote Road is also nearby where there are many shops, an antique market and a street market on Saturdays. The open spaces of Wandsworth Common and Clapham Common are nearby. The Thames riverside walk leading up to Putney or down to Chelsea Embankment and Battersea Park is a short walk away.
We have an excellent small supermarket with an ATM at the end of our road and there are other supermarkets, shops and banks a short walk away.

The house is located in a very quiet road moments from Clapham Junction Station ( zone 2 ) where you can take the London Overground or take a direct train to Waterloo or Victoria in 7 minutes. Local buses also take you to Chelsea or Knightsbridge in 10 - 15 minutes.
Gatwick and Heathrow airports are easily accessed by public transport from Clapham Junction Station.

We are a retired professional couple, looking for a reciprocal or non reciprocal exchange in a home that is compatible with our own.
We have a second home on the coast so we can be very flexible on dates.
