My home has a calm, welcoming feel with plenty of natural light, open space, and a peaceful atmosphere—ideal for unwinding after a day at the beach or exploring the coast.

Located just minutes from some of the Sunshine Coast’s best beaches, cafés, and coastal walks, you’ll have everything you need close by while still enjoying a quiet, private setting.

About the home

The home is low-set with no stairs, making it easy and accessible. The property is fully fenced, secure, and lockable, with security cameras in place for added peace of mind. There is space for two cars in the driveway.

Inside, the home has a very relaxed and comfortable feel and is fully air-conditioned throughout for year-round comfort. There are three bedrooms available, each with a king-size bed. For families, there are also four small children’s mattresses available if you prefer the kids to sleep on the floor.

If you are travelling with children, this is an ideal space. The property was previously a home daycare, so it is well set up for families. The yard is fully fenced and features a large sandpit, playground, and cubby house.

There is a beautiful large dining table that comfortably seats 10—perfect for long, relaxed meals together.

That said, you may find yourself tempted by the many fantastic restaurants in Mooloolaba, most of which deliver straight to the house.

The bar in the backyard can tell some stories, and you’re very welcome to make a few of your own. It’s a really cool space to hang out, with two large fridges and everything you need ready to go.

A $200 AUD cleaning fee applies on departure.

Please note: I am primarily looking for a home exchange over the Christmas and New Year period, as this is when businesses close in Australia and I am able to travel.

The Space

Our home has a beautiful, spacious open-plan feel, designed for relaxed Sunshine Coast living. We have three comfortable bedrooms, all with king-size beds, along with two bathrooms.

One of the highlights of our home is the huge open-plan entertaining area and bar — the perfect place to unwind, enjoy a drink and spend time together.

For families travelling with children, our home is especially well suited. By day, it operates as a Family Day Care, so it is wonderfully set up for little ones. While the adults relax in the entertaining area, the children can enjoy the outdoor sandpit, playground and dedicated play spaces.

It really is a home where adults can relax and children can play, explore and have fun.

Hello! I’m Annie from the gorgeous Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. 🌴☀️🇦🇺

We are a family of four adults and absolutely love the idea of experiencing different parts of the world through home exchanging.

As I’m a teacher, my travel dates are quite specific. Each year, I’m able to exchange for approximately three weeks over the Christmas and New Year period, so we like to organise and secure our exchanges well in advance.

🗽 Christmas/New Year 2028:
We are particularly looking for a three-week home exchange in New York City. Spending Christmas and New Year in New York would be an absolute dream for us!
