General Overview

With a 100 walk, bike and transit score, there is no need for a vehicle! (But free driveway parking if you have one!) When you see the lush backyard and rooftop deck, and how much privacy and greenery they offer, you won't believe you are in downtown Toronto, just a 15 minute walk from famous Yonge Street. The house is ~1700 square feet over four levels. There is a private, fenced backyard, a deck with a gas BBQ, a peaceful rooftop deck, private laundry, etc. On the main level, you'll find the living room with TV (streaming only), dining room, and kitchen with coffee and tea. On the second level, you'll find two large bedrooms (each with a queen sized bed) and the main bathroom (with sunken bathtub). On the third level, you'll find the rooftop deck and a very large bedroom (with two queen sized beds and a single bed in the nook area) and a newly renovated bathroom (with large shower). In the basement, there is a washer and dryer, and a work/study area with seating for four.

The Space

In addition to the house, there is a backyard, with a deck, and a gas barbecue that you are welcome to use. There is also an upper deck on the third floor with a shade awning.

Guest Access

There are a lot of stairs in this house because it is tall and skinny.

Notes

No smoking or vaping inside the house, and please remove your shoes in the foyer.

Neighbourhood

The neighborhood is very mixed, with million dollar homes as well as homeless shelters. You will observe homelessness and drug use everywhere in downtown Toronto including in our neighborhood. However, Toronto is a very safe city by International standards.
