Neighbourhood

Close to the apartment you can find two grocery stores, a bakery, a café and a restaurant. Also within walking distance is Bystranda (the city beach), a nice swimmingpool, the university and a beautiful outdoor recreational area. The city centre is a pleasant 15 to 20 min walk away. Kristiansand has a lot to offer; including the world-renowned art museum Kunstsilo, a beautiful waterfront promenade, the old town, the fish market, and a charming city center with many cafés, restaurants, and shops. You can also find a concert hall and a zoo and amusement park which is also nice for adults. There are many great hiking and walking areas just outside the town.

Getting Around

Five minutes walk from the apartment you can find buses to all part of the town. In the centre you can also find train and buses to other places more far.
