Hospitality Description: I am looking for a home exchange in Barcelona from 12–18 November. During this period my home in Zutphen is available for exchange. Outside these dates, I am also open to hospitality exchanges. Since I live alone, I especially welcome Spanish-speaking guests and share everyday life in Zutphen. I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and practising my Spanish.

General Overview

Welcome to our home in a green and peaceful eco-neighbourhood in Zutphen. Our neighbourhood is car-free, safe and friendly, with many young families and neighbours who know each other. It is a place where people still say hello when they meet on the street. What we love most about living here is the combination of nature, community and the charm of a historic Dutch town. Zutphen has beautiful cycling routes, and we have bicycles available so you can explore the countryside, forests and nearby villages like a local. The historic city centre is within easy reach and offers lovely small shops, cosy cafés and restaurants. Zutphen is also known for its excellent bakery culture – one of the best bakeries in the Netherlands is right here! For outdoor lovers there are many possibilities: you can go stand-up paddling on the nearby lake or on the river Berkel, enjoy walks along the water, or simply relax in the green surroundings. The supermarket is within walking distance, and public transport is close by, making it easy to explore other Dutch cities such as Amsterdam, Arnhem and Deventer. We love the friendly atmosphere of our neighbourhood and hope our guests will feel at home here.

Zutphen has a charming old town, cafes and nature nearby, and is an ideal base for exploring the country. The train station and public transport are nearby, making it easy to visit places like Amsterdam, Deventer, Arnhem, and other Dutch cities.
