General Overview

Our home is a traditional French-Canadian stone house, featuring a beautiful fieldstone façade, classic shutters, and three charming dormer windows that give it its distinctive character. Set on a spacious lot, the property offers a wonderful sense of openness and privacy. Whether you want to relax or stay active, you'll find plenty to enjoy: a heated swimming pool, self-watering raised garden beds, a golf practice net, and outdoor fitness equipment. Mature hedges and fencing create a peaceful, secluded backyard where you can unwind in privacy. Inside, the layout is designed for comfort. With three bedrooms on the upper floor, three full bathrooms, and an additional powder room, everyone has plenty of space to settle in and feel at home. The kitchen is well equipped because we love to cook, and I have a habit of labeling just about everything. You'll never have to wonder where anything belongs—finding your way around is surprisingly easy... and yes, that's a good thing! 😊 The main-floor living room, complete with a cozy fireplace, the lower-level family room with its large-screen TV, and the bright three-season sunroom provide plenty of inviting spaces to gather—or to enjoy a quiet moment on your own. Everyone can easily find their own favourite corner to relax. Digital nomads will feel right at home here. Three separate rooms are equipped with work desks, making it easy for everyone to work comfortably without getting in each other's way.

Marie-Carole

For the past ten years, Gilles and I have embraced the digital nomad lifestyle, travelling while continuing to work from wherever life takes us. We love discovering new places, immersing ourselves in local cultures, and experiencing destinations the way locals do rather than as tourists. Home exchanging has become a natural extension of that philosophy. We genuinely enjoy opening our home to like-minded travellers and hope you'll feel comfortable here from the moment you arrive. Whether it's a short city break or a long-term stay, we're equally happy with exchanges of just a few days or several weeks. I'm a professional copywriter, gradually easing into retirement—at least according to my birth certificate! Recently, I've discovered the joy of making handcrafted soaps, a creative hobby that has quickly become a real passion. I speak French, English, German, and Spanish, which has made meeting people from around the world even more rewarding. Gilles is an entrepreneur at heart who is always dreaming up new ventures. When he's not doing that, you'll probably find him volunteering his voice, singing timeless crooner classics at charity events. One day, we'd love to share a home exchange with my son and his partner. It hasn't happened yet, but it's definitely on our wish list!
