General Overview

Welcome to our renovated 1930's 'Queenslander' home! This is the perfect place to experience Australia's sunshine state, in peaceful surrounds with easy public transport connections to the attractions of inner city Brisbane. The city is less than 20 minutes away by train, with the station an easy 5 minute walk. There is also plenty to keep you entertained at home including an in-ground pool, a large outdoor deck and BBQ to enjoy the Queenslander weather, a pool table and rumpus room.

Notes

We will be taking a sabbatical from November 2026 - October 2027, and are looking for simultaneous swaps: *North America and Canada (short term, between November 2026- Feb 2027) *UK and Europe (longer term swaps, between April and August 2027) We live with two beautiful cats, but they will not be at the house during this time, and it will be fully cleaned before any guests arrive.

Neighbourhood

Local attractions include neighbourhood cafes at Bank Road Graceville, the Sherwood Arboretum and easy access to riverside paths and walks and the Pat Rafter Tennis Centre. It is also the perfect base to explore South East Queensland, with easy freeway access to the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Noosa.

Getting to my home

Sherwood is approximately a half hour drive from Brisbane airport, and 20 minutes by rail to the city.
