General Overview
The house is in a very quiet garden square, set in a conservation area and built in 1837. We are next to the Imperial War Museum with its lovely park and tennis courts. The London Eye, National Theatre and South Bank are all within walking distance. The area is in Zone 1 and extremely well connected to central London, either by bus, tube, bicycle or on foot (35 minutes walk or 10 minutes by bus to Covent Garden and the West End). You can even hear Big Ben chiming the hour from the back garden.

Having lived and worked around the world - from India to Scotland, we are now based between London, France and Scotland. Three grown up daughters who now left home - almost! We have some exchange experience, which has always been great.
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
