General Overview

I am located in a very desirable part of Edmonton called Riverbend. It is an upscale area, and I face a lovely, treed ravine with access to walking trails right across the street. My home offers 2 bedrooms plus den, with two bathrooms, warm and welcoming kitchen, bright living room with access to my deck, fully finished lower level with a family room, and for parking there's a double attached garage.

The Space

The living room has a vaulted ceiling and gas fireplace. I have leather couch and loveseat, and a nice TV with lots of channels. The kitchen has a nice eating area that seats up to six people. It has newer stainless steel appliances. The two bedrooms are large, and both have high quality queen size beds. Downstairs is a family room with fireplace and a stereo where I play records. I also have a couple of guitars and conga drums that can be used. Downstairs is the location of the second bedroom and bathroom with shower, plus my photography studio.

Guest Access

There is everything you need on the main floor, including the washer and dryer. It is one flight of stairs to the lower level. I have a double attached garage where I keep my Lexus RX 350. I am happy to consider including my vehicle.

Notes

I do have a cat, so if you have allergies to cats my home would not be suitable. I could arrange for my cat to be boarded during your stay (unless you love cats and want him there).

Neighbourhood

My neighborhood is very nice, with handy shopping for food and other things. There is also excellent access to walking trails in the Whitemud Creek Ravine, which is a natural setting with birds and other animals. Edmonton has many parks and other attractions. It is also not far (about a 3 hour drive) to the Rocky Mountains. Jasper and Banff are well known areas for enjoying nature, and skiing in the winter.

Getting to my home

It is easy to find my home from the airport, as it is on the south side of the city (as is the airport). It is about 25 minutes to Edmonton International Airport.

Nearest airport

Edmonton International Airport (YEG) is about 12 kms away. An easy drive of 25 minutes.

Getting Around

If you would like I am willing to lend you my car. Most people in Edmonton use a car to get around, but we also have good bus service. I have two bus stops right by my home. We have taxis and uber too.
