General Overview

Nice apartment in the old village of Scheveningen near the shopping street and boulevard. Lots of nature nearby (forest, dunes, beach/sea) and many museums, pubs, etc. Public transport in front of the door. Please note: pets provided 1 indoor/outdoor cat and a quiet mix of greyhound dog In consultation, the dog stays at home or goes with you during the exchange.

The Space

There is 1 bedroom with a double bed, a sofa bed that can be folded out. Despite being a small apartment, everything is divided separately from each other. The living room, bedroom, kitchen, toilet and shower are separated from each other. There is a small garden to sit in and within walking distance of the beach.

Guest Access

It is on the ground floor (but has to go up 3 steps via a staircase) there is a front and back door. My preference is to give the back door key as my neighbors have quite a problem with the fact that I make my house available to guests.

Neighbourhood

There is a lot to see and experience. The tram to Delft stops here in front of the door, a nice place to see. There are a lot of nice museums, shops, eateries, etc. in The Hague itself. And there is also plenty to do in Scheveningen itself, delicious dinner, going to the pub or with your feet in the sand. If you like dunes and forest, this is also the place to be.

Getting to my home

It is best to fly via Amsterdam or Rotterdam. By train you can take the tram via Holland Spoor or via The Hague. From Utrecht, Amsterdam, Rotterdam you can easily take a train to The Hague. The bus companies stop in The Hague, if not, via Utrecht or Rotterdam is the cheapest, fastest option. Tram 1 goes from the center (spui) to my house, bus 21 from the upper platform you can also take tram 9 at the Kurhaus and take tram 1 towards my house. Bus 11 goes from Holland rail.

Getting Around

Bus 21 goes to the city centre and central station Tram 11 takes you to the holland spoor and the haagse markt and delft, rijswijk. Tram 1 goes to the city centre and beyond
