General Overview

Our home is comfortable and spacious. Importantly now more than ever, it is well insulated and stays cool throughout the year. We love the dependable sea breeze and like to eat outside and enjoy late afternoon in our garden. Any time of day, we can hop on a bike and go to Venice or Santa Monica (some hills upon return!). We like to take the E line train to theaters and Walt Disney Concert Hall in Downtown LA and to Exposition Park. LA is mostly a car-centered city, but there are some options from our neighborhood. We have 3 bedrooms, two with queen size mattresses and a king size bed in the en suite primary bedroom. There are 3 full bathrooms. Our upstairs family room can be used as a guest room as well.

The house has 3 steps up to the porch.

Notes

There is a converted garage unit in the backyard, with its own rear patio, which is rented out (single tenant). This does not impose on your privacy and use of the yard.

We are a retired couple who have enjoyed home exchange adventures in France and London over the past 3 years. We have had great experiences and met some lovely people through this and we will take excellent care of your home and garden in exchange for same. Our house is in a very desirable West LA neighborhood, only a 5 minute drive or 10 minute bike ride from Venice Beach.
