Bayshore is a peaceful, unincorporated community situated just north of the Alsea Bay Bridge on a sand spit bordered by the Pacific Ocean and Alsea Bay. It is a quiet residential neighborhood and vacation destination featuring scenic beach access, outdoor recreation, and a relaxed coastal atmosphere.Located just north of downtown Waldport across the Alsea Bay Bridge. Bordered to the west by the Pacific Ocean and to the south by Alsea Bay. Traversed by U.S. Route 101, sitting roughly 14 miles south of Newport and 10 miles north of Yachats.
Getting to my home
The best/easiest way to arrive is by car.
Traveling from Portland International Airport (PDX) to Waldport, Oregon covers about 140 miles and takes roughly 3 hours by car. The fastest driving route takes I-5 South to OR-34 West through Corvallis and then takes US-20 West to Newport and 101 coast highway to Waldport.
Arriving from Eugene, OR will be around 2 hours driving. From Eugene, get on OR-99/OR-126 westbound toward Corvallis/Coast. Connect to OR-34 West toward Waldport/Newport.
Follow OR-34 West through Alsea and the Coast Range.
Stay on OR-34 until it ends at US-101 in Waldport.

Getting Around
You will most likely need a car to get around. The nearest grocery store is in Waldport which is 1.8 miles away.
