General Overview

Our gorgeous secluded River Cottage is set on a 1.5 acres abutting the serene Goulburn River. ...surrounded by an abundance of beautiful majestic old trees fragrant flowers & dozens of colorful birds…our little cottage is a home away from the ‘hustle & bustle’ of life …come away & leave your troubles behind 😊..We are close enough to Melbourne for an easy train ride or more locally …superb wineries, country markets & historic gold mining towns so much to see & do or just ‘Chill’ here. You could wander across the historic wooden bridge, take in the peace & serenity as you watch the black swans glide by the cows & sheep grazing in their paddocks & of course the good old Aussie cockatoos above. If you get lucky you might see the platypus frolicking in the shallows from our jetty. Stand up Paddle board, canoe or swim if you want …Or maybe you just want to sit, sip & watch the magnificent sunset..hard to beat. We look forward to welcoming you to our ‘Little Piece of Paradise’.

The Space

The River cottage is a private studio cottage…open plan living suitable for a couple or an extra couple if they so decide. One large queen bed plus a queen sofa bed …separate bathroom. The kitchen doesn’t have an oven however it has a hot plate also a microwave & the usual extras. .. Guests would have access to a separate laundry also a well fitted out gym if they so desire.

We are an ‘older couple’ that still love life & adventures💃🎶😎.. We have fun wherever we go ..we don’t do ‘boring’ terribly well😂.. Beautiful wineries set amidst rolling hills, fabulous food & of course lovely wine, great coffee, farmers markets & glorious beaches the list goes on ..just a few things that ‘float our Boat’😂 We are new to this type of travel, we are so looking forward to meeting wonderful like minded new friends around the world. We are open to ‘different’ types of exchanges from canal or houseboats & castles through to a little studio in the heart of London💓😉..we are flexible as there is just two of us.
