General Overview

Our home is a spacious six-bedroom country home on the New Hampshire Seacoast, set on over 9 quiet acres on a hill. It is peaceful and private-feeling, with plenty of room to spread out inside and outside, but still close to so much of what makes New England special. The house is especially well suited for family life. We have comfortable sleeping space for a large family, a large kitchen, generous living areas, a sunroom, a playroom, a piano, a small home gym, and a home library with thousands of books. There is space for children to play, adults to relax, meals to be shared, books to be read, and everyone to have a little breathing room. Our location is one of the best parts of the home. We are less than 15 minutes from several Seacoast beaches, about an hour from Boston, and close to Portsmouth and Exeter. Guests can use our home as a quiet New England base for beach days, Boston history and museums, Portsmouth’s restaurants, shops, waterfront, and arts scene, or visits to historic Exeter, home to Phillips Exeter Academy and the American Independence Museum. New Hampshire is also a wonderful place to experience the seasons. Summer brings beaches, coastal walks, and day trips; fall brings beautiful foliage and classic New England scenery; winter offers cozy indoor days and access to skiing or mountain adventures; and spring is lovely for exploring towns, parks, gardens, and the coast. The Lakes Region, White Mountains, southern Maine, and many other New England destinations are all possible day trips or weekend adventures from here.
