Polly
Hello! I’m Polly, a creative from the seaside town of Margate in the UK.
This autumn I’m moving to Berlin to begin a Master’s in Applied Creative Psychology at Catalyst Institute. I’m hoping to spend my first few months getting to know the city, exploring its neighbourhoods, cafés, galleries and parks before deciding where I’d like to settle longer term.
For the past few years I’ve run a much-loved Airbnb in my own home and know exactly how important it is to trust the person staying in your space. I’m naturally tidy, respectful and genuinely enjoy looking after beautiful homes. If you have plants, books or treasured objects, they’ll be in safe hands!
I’m the founder of Joy Scouts, a project that encourages people to discover joyful places, experiences and communities. I’m endlessly curious, creative and happiest wandering a new city with a coffee in hand, discovering hidden courtyards, independent bookshops and interesting architecture.
I’ll initially be travelling on my own, with the hope of bringing my wonderfully calm, well-behaved cockerpoo, Dude, to Berlin later in the year once I’m settled. Any future arrangement would always be discussed and agreed in advance.
If you’re looking for someone who will genuinely appreciate and care for your home while you’re away, I’d love to hear from you. Equally, if you’d like to experience life in colourful, creative Margate, I’d be delighted to welcome you to my home by the sea.
