You will have easy access to everything Tahoe has to offer from skiing and sledding in the winter to hiking, swimming and biking in the summer.

Our home has a beautiful open-plan main-floor living area with a comfortable living room, large kitchen, and spacious dining area that serves as the perfect gathering place for family and friends. With cream-colored walls, large windows, and vaulted wood ceilings with recessed lighting, the space is beautifully designed and creates a bright and airy atmosphere.

The living area includes a sectional that provides plenty of seating to cuddle in front of the stone fireplace on cool evenings and offers a great place for family games or for watching a movie on the flat-screen TV. The kitchen—with light wood cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and lots of counter space—is fully equipped so you can easily prepare your favorite meals during your stay, and the dining area is surrounded by large picture windows, offering a peaceful and serene atmosphere for sit-down meals.

The bright primary suite offers a queen bed, a sitting area for quiet morning reading, and a large ensuite that includes a dual vanity, a large soaking tub, and a separate shower with tasteful brass fixtures.

On the lower floor, you will find two additional bedrooms: a tastefully decorated queen bedroom and a triple bedroom with a queen bed and a twin bunk bed with a ladder. Both bedrooms are decorated in calming neutrals to ensure that guests have a peaceful night’s sleep during their stay!

Kings Beach is a charming community situated on the north shore of Lake Tahoe, California. The area is known for its crystal clear water, sandy beaches, and breathtaking mountain views, making it a popular destination for tourists and locals alike.

During the summer months, a fifteen minute walk to the beach offers a variety of recreational activities for people to enjoy. 
Visitors can swim, paddleboard, kayak, and enjoy a variety of watersports. Kings Beach State Recreation Area also has picnic tables, barbecue grills, and a playground, making it the perfect spot for a family outing. 
In the winter, Kings Beach transforms into a winter wonderland, with nearby ski resorts offering world-class skiing and snowboarding. Northstar California Resort is just a 15-minute drive away, offering over 3,000 acres of skiable terrain, a terrain park, and a variety of other winter activities. Palisades and Alpine Meadows are also just a short drive away, offering even more skiing and snowboarding opportunities.

Getting to my home

Our home is a three hour drive from the San Francisco Bay Area and 40 miles from the Reno-Tahoe International Airport.

Getting Around

Kings Beach shops and restaurants are less than a mile away. 

Downtown Truckee, located just a few miles east of Kings Beach, is a historic town that's worth a visit. The town has a charming, old-western feel, with brick buildings and wooden sidewalks. There are a variety of shops, restaurants, and galleries to explore.
