Glencairn is one of Cape Town's hidden gems. Situated between Fish Hoek and the historic naval town of Simon's Town, it offers a relaxed coastal lifestyle surrounded by mountains and the ocean.

Our home is bright, spacious and designed for easy family living. Large windows flood the living areas with natural light and frame beautiful mountain views, while the open-plan kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and entertaining. The dining room comfortably seats eight, making it ideal for shared family meals.
With comfortable 3 double bedrooms, 3 modern renovated bathrooms and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, it's a place where guests can truly settle in rather than simply stay.
Outside, you'll find a quiet, leafy neighbourhood where birdsong replaces traffic noise, yet you're only minutes from beaches, hiking trails and charming seaside villages.
Whether you're looking for adventure or simply a peaceful place to recharge, our home is an ideal base for discovering one of Cape Town's most beautiful regions.

What we love most is that we can start the day with a mountain hike, spend the afternoon at the beach, enjoy dinner overlooking the ocean, and be home beside the fireplace in the evening—all without travelling far. It's the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation.
Getting to my home
Our home is approximately 45 minutes from Cape Town International Airport by car, depending on traffic.
The drive is one of the most scenic in Cape Town, taking you along the False Bay coastline and through charming seaside villages before arriving in peaceful Glencairn.
We recommend hiring a car, as it's the easiest way to explore everything the Cape Peninsula has to offer. There is secure parking available at the house.
If you prefer not to drive, Uber is readily available from the airport, and the Glencairn train station is within walking distance of our home, offering a scenic rail journey along the coast to Fish Hoek, Kalk Bay, Muizenberg and Cape Town.
